Welcome to Spiny Events. These Terms and Conditions govern your access and use of the Spiny Events platform (“Platform”), operated by Evlop Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By using our services, you (“Organizer,” “User”) agree to be bound by the following terms.
1. Service Overview
Spiny Events is a SaaS-based platform designed to help organizers build and manage websites for their events. We provide tools to create event pages, manage schedules, list speakers, and share information with attendees.
We are not a ticketing platform, payment processor, or event management company. Our platform is purely for website creation and information sharing.
2. Pricing & Payment
- The cost to create a website using Spiny Events is $129 per event.
- There may be additional card processing fees and taxes depending on your country. These are handled by third-party payment processors.
- If you wish to keep the event archive active, a renewal fee of $29/year applies.
- Websites are hosted on a subdomain like youreventname.spinyevents.com free of charge.
3. Refund Policy
We aim to ensure your satisfaction. You may request a full refund up to one week before your event if you’re unsatisfied for any reason.
Refunds will not be issued after the event date unless the event was canceled due to extraordinary circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, major technical issues caused by us).
Refunds do not apply to hosting, as subdomain hosting is free and not billed.
4. Event & Ticket Responsibility
- Spiny Events does not handle ticket sales, financial transactions with attendees, or event logistics.
- If your event is canceled, you are solely responsible for notifying your attendees and handling any financial consequences.
- Spiny Events will not be responsible for attendee communication, disputes, or refunds related to ticketing or event cancellations.
5. Data Hosting & Privacy
- All websites and content are hosted on our cloud servers.
- Spiny Events does not provide downloadable ZIP files of your website or database. Our platform is built as a cloud solution.
- However, upon request, we will permanently delete your event website and associated data at any time—before or after the event.
6. Data Ownership and Protection
- All data entered by you (the organizer) belongs to you. This includes schedules, speakers, sponsors, and attendee information.
- We do not share or sell attendee data to third parties or other organizers.
- If an attendee requests their personal data be deleted, it is the organizer’s responsibility to honor and manage that request.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the platform in compliance with all applicable local, national, and international laws. You may not use the service for:
- Hosting illegal content.
- Distributing malware or malicious code.
- Collecting data without consent.
8. Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. Any activity under your account is your responsibility.
9. Limitation of Liability
Spiny Events is not liable for:
- Event cancellations, financial losses, or miscommunications between organizers and attendees.
- Issues caused by third-party services such as ticketing platforms, payment processors, or content embeds.
Our liability is limited to the amount paid for our services.
10. Modifications and Termination
We reserve the right to modify or discontinue services at any time with or without notice. We also reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms
